We want you to be satisfied with your purchases on AppTrovo. If something isn't right, here's how our refund process works.
Eligibility — You May Request a Refund If:
- The product is significantly different from its description or preview
- The product has a critical bug or defect that the author cannot or will not fix
- There are undisclosed compatibility issues (e.g., requires a specific framework version not mentioned)
- The product does not function as demonstrated in the live demo
- You were charged incorrectly (duplicate charge, wrong amount)
Not Eligible for Refund:
- You changed your mind after purchase
- You lack the technical skills to install or use the product (consider hiring the author instead)
- You've downloaded and extensively used the product
- The issue is caused by your hosting environment, not the product itself
- You found a cheaper alternative elsewhere
- The request is made more than 30 days after purchase
Automatic Refund Approval
Refunds that meet ALL of the following criteria are processed automatically:
- Order amount is $25 or less
- Requested within 7 days of purchase
- Product has not been downloaded
- No previous refunds in the past 90 days
All other refund requests are reviewed by our team, typically within 1-2 business days.
How to Request a Refund
- Go to your Dashboard → Purchases
- Find the order and click "Request Refund"
- Select a reason and provide details about the issue
- Our team (or the automatic system) will review and respond
Refund Processing
- Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method
- Processing time: 5-10 business days depending on your bank
- The associated license key is automatically deactivated upon refund
- Author earnings are adjusted to reflect the refund
Disputes
If your refund request is denied and you disagree with the decision, you can open a dispute. Disputes are mediated by our team. If the buyer never downloaded the product and the dispute is within 14 days, it may be automatically resolved in the buyer's favor.
